Turner, History of the Pioneer Settlement of Phelps & Gorham's Purchase, and Morris' Reserve (Rochester, New York: William Alling, 1852, pg, 480).

Dewey Gage, 1975 author unknown, and 1997 reading by Floyd & Gladys Gage which is based on a 1981 reading by Kenneth & Helena Gage.  There is also an extract from a diary of George Walther for burials 1883-1903. Lord is probably the correct name of the cemetery although it has been referred to as the Hawley Cemetery.
